Igli Mezini is an Albanian dancer born in Tirana and a graduate of the National Ballet School of Albania. He danced as a soloist with Cannes Jeune Ballet, Hessisches Staatsballett Wiesbaden/Darmstadt, Ballet Preljocaj, and Compagnie Linga before joining Tanz Luzerner Theater in 2019, where he currently performs.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with internationally acclaimed choreographers including Jiří Kylián, Angelin Preljocaj, Crystal Pite, Wayne McGregor, Hofesh Shechter, and many others. His work also extends into film and interdisciplinary projects, including the opening ceremony of Cannes Film Festival for The Great Gatsby, the short film The Key, and the opening of the Audemars Piguet Museum.
